Client policies
Clear expectations.
Respectful service.
These general policies support privacy, preparation and fairness. The service agreement or invoice for a specific engagement will contain the final terms that govern that work.
01Privacy and safety
Private information shared during a consultation or program is expected to remain confidential. Unauthorized disclosure of internal information—or information that violates another person’s privacy or safety—may result in immediate dismissal from services.
02Payments and refunds
Once service terms are accepted and funds are committed, payments are generally nonrefundable. If The Hive Consulting cancels an event or service, funds will be returned minus the value and fees of services already rendered.
03Cancellations
A client cancellation may result in the loss of some or all reservation fees or deposits because preparation begins before the appointment or event. The applicable amount will be stated in the client’s agreement or invoice.
04Rescheduling
Hourly appointments may be rescheduled without penalty when notice is provided at least 24 hours before the appointment. At 23 hours or less, the existing payment is nonrefundable and a new appointment requires new payment.
05Long-term engagements
For lengthy services, projects or events, clients remain responsible for time, materials, investments and completed work. Any restarted or rescheduled engagement may require revised fees at The Hive Consulting’s discretion.
06Back2Business referrals
Back2Business assistance requires a sponsored referral and application. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, funding, clothing, placement or any particular service. Support depends on screening, readiness and available resources.
